Hi, this is my first time to this forum. I was directed here by the Windows forum on Compuserve. Hopefully, I've chosen the correct forum to post this particular question to.
I have a couple of clip art images in a PowerPoint presentation. I would like to save these images and incorporate them into a Web page. When I try to save an image the default save type is .PNG. It looks very good in .PNG. However, I'm not familiar with the PNG format. I've only ever used GIF and JPG. When I save the images as either GIF or JPG, they don't look nearly as good. So, my question is, is .PNG a universally acceptable format for saving images on a Web page? Thanks a lot for any help. Ken |
