I have a pdf map, everything is lineart and black or a shade of black. Thousands of objects of various shades of gray, such values as 43.1% black, etc. Does anyone know how to globally change anything that is black, into the equivalent shade of a pms color? Yes, I have pitstop, and it is easy to change, say, 100% black to 100% pms, using the global replace, but does anyone know how to change all blacks to all pms all at once? An action is possible but I would have to do all values from 0.1% through to 99.9% (ie. it would take 1000 lines in the action) and this action would probably be very slow.
Workarounds such as placing in InDesign and colourizing is not an option as further actions have to take place on the pdf (long story, ps from mapping program, has to be merged into another pdf, etc. etc.). Must be done in acrobat. Thanks, Tim Last edited by roaryg; 01-31-2007 at 11:48 AM. Reason: Add 2nd paragraph |
