This is one of the reasons I was attracted to the approach being offered by the ebay seller I bought the Win10/Pro upgrade from because the DLA (digital licensing activation) does NOT require one of these stupid accounts. And, I think that I have found all of Microsoft's hiddencrap that will try and push one into creating an account and turned off/unchecked them--there is a gpedit option that one can set to block creating one of these crapaccounts but so far, I've not need to turn that on...
