BatchOutput 3.2 from Zevrix Solutions automates print and export of InDesign CS (through CS4) files to PDF, EPS, PostScript, JPEG, and SWF.
Described as “a workflow solution” the program permits background processes, variable output naming, merging of multiple documents, output of non-consecutive pages, and more. It appears to be useful in a design/production studio. I have no way of testing it that even remotely approximates real-world conditions, but would love to hear from anyone who uses it or sees ways of using it. Mac OS X 10.4 or higher (including Leopard). $120; free update from version 3.x, $40 update from older versions. There is also a BatchOutput Server ($500). __________________ :: [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] |
