MS released an update that's supposed to fix potential security problems with OTF fonts.
The update, it turns out, causes the fonts to disappear in some circumstances. It's a real problem in PowerPoint; may or may not be in other Office apps/other Windows apps. In any case, if you see any oddball text behavior, check to see if you're using an OTF. If so, try substituting a TTF. If that makes the problem go away, visit this page, just put up by my friend Troy Chollar: http://thepowerpointblog.com/2012/12...fonts-not-seen It explains which update caused the problem and how to remove it. Removing the update removes the problem. MS has been made aware of the issue. __________________ Steve Rindsberg ==================== www.pptfaq.com www.pptools.com and stuff |
