Default Font Manager for Windows 7?

After mucking about all day, I've found that Font Navigator is just not going to work properly on Win7. I can't get it to install T1 fonts and it's just flakey.

I've done a bit of searching around for a font manager for Win7 and found FontNexus which is free--Suitcase Fusion is way to pricey...at least at this point...

Has anyone used NexusFont?

Other suggestions?

Thanks...

Terrie

BTW I think it's NexusFont .....

http://download.cnet.com/NexusFont/3...-10861616.html

I haven't managed to find a website of the author. I think it's http://www.xiles.net/ but all I get is a black screen with a few icons so I didn't go further.

I see now it's a Twitter page and I wouldn't know what to do but there is an icon [A] which leads to a download button.

I'll let you know what I think when I get a chance to do the install...probably tomorrow--have to uninstall FontNav first...

I think I've found the replacement for Corel / Bitstream Font Navigator in Printer's Apprentice in that it looks like the best of Font Navigator, it works in Windows 7 and it was on sale for $9.99 (normally $24.99--maybe it's perpetually on sale...'-}}) so after taking a browse through their screenshots, I bought it.

Tomorrow I will uninstall FontNav (sad to see it go) and then install PA...I'll report back...

Looking forward to your report ... I've not attempted font management so far in Win 7.

No...after seeing the write-up and the screen shots for Printer's Apprentice I decided to go with PA rather than NF. I have NF downloaded and if PA proves to be not what I hope it will be, I'll try NF. I did find a page with some NexusFont documentation--it's for a slightly older version but still useful.
