Default 24" 1920x1200 HP LCD pivoting monitor: $210

Yup, you read that correctly. I just ordered one myself.

Now, it is refurbished, but still, that's an awesome deal, $209.99 including shipping on a refurb pivoting 24" 1920x1200 widescreen LCD monitor from HP. http://www.buy.com/prod/famous-maker...54&dcaid=17654

They say in the ad it's "comparable to" the HP monitor, but sources say that it's literally the same monitor, that if you peel off a bit of tape on the back, there's the HP logo (or in some cases there's just a little block missing where the logo would have been inserted).

Be sure to read the reviews on Buy.com as well. Very big color gamut (much more than the average consumer monitor), but hard to calibrate. Glossy screen can be overly reflective. Good viewing angles may not be as wide as one would like - from below is particularly bad (which ends up being from one side after you rotate it).
