I'm laying out a DVD cover for a client. Never did one before. Their DVD vendor gave me a template with the following measurements:
front and back cover widths are 5.09375" spine width is .5625" total with is 10.8125" When I add up the front cover, back cover, and spine, I get a different number for the total width: 10.75" Does this mean maybe the spine is a separate piece, and it's not a continuous piece of art that wraps around the front, spine and back covers? Yeah, I should be asking the vendor, but they are closed for the day, and I am supposed to have this cover done tomorrow. I'll call 'em in the morning, but would be curious to know if anyone else has done a DVD cover and run into this situation. mxh |
