In the past I've had random difficulties inserting photos here. Just figured out what the difficulty was (URL was too darned long).

It seems that inline (as opposed to attached) photos work well in vBulletin as long as:

The images are stored on a Web site
Said Web site allows this type of linking (Webshots.com, for example, does not)
The URL for the images is not too long

So, use your own Web site or find a photo storage site that allows linking, and use TinyURL if vB chokes on the actual one.
