Default Dedicated IP address and other extras

I'm setting up a new web/e-mail hosting account at UH. On the signup page, there are optional package addons and extras:

Frontpage Extensions (don't know what they are, so I probably don't need them)

Multiple Domain Hosting (hosting for three sites +$5/mo, etc.)

Dedicated IP address ($3/mo)

Comodo SSL Certificate (don't know what this is, either)

I'll skip the Frontpage and Comodo, but do I need a dedicated IP address? What are the pros and cons?

And does multiple domain hosting just mean additional accounts for separate domains? I only want to set up one domain right now, but might add more at a later date.

I think right now all I need to figure out is the dedicated IP address thing.

FWIW, my web site will mostly be photos of my dogs and stuff like that. No business services, no blogs, etc.
