Working right now on recovering files from the farkled hard drive (which I now suspect even more is attached to a slightly lemon-flavored logic board), Data Rescue X (a.k.a. Data Rescue Mac) has found, among other things, a pile of .nib files. I'm not silly enough to try recovering and doing anything with any of them, but I'd still like to know what the heck they are, or at least what the letters stand for. Anyone happen to know? I assume they're some part of the UNIX underpinnings.
