Default Joomla! 1.5 officially released

The keenly awaited release of Joomla! version 1.5, codename Khepri, has taken place. Declared stable last night it is now available for download. See www.joomla.org

Having been involved in testing J!1.5 for some months now, I know it is a very capable CMS.

1.0.14 will be released in a few days as a recommended security upgrade to 1.0.13.

If you have space on the server try installing 1.5 in a subdirectory for comparison purposes. Once you have tried 1.5 you may well want to use it for the main site!

I have 6 different Joomla installs on my test domain and much prefer to use 1.5.

I've got plenty of disk space on the server, so I should try installing 1.5. Thanks.
