I did a very very rough estimate based on a small data set. My memory is that (in the CS years) Adobe upgraded Photoshop every two years. Based on the cost of upgrading to CS5, and adjusting for inflation, an upgrade today would be $238.. Spread over two years that would be $119 per year. According to Adobe's current pricing guide, I can get a Photoshop subscription for $119.88 a year. That is so close it's scary.
Sooo, what could I get for $119.88. I can get Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Photoshop on desktop and iPad, and 20GB of cloud storage But I'm not going to do it. My health is so bad now that even typing this message is a strain. The last thing I need is a new Photoshop on my computer temping me to wear myself out. |
