Image optimizer for ID CS/CS2
Zevrix Solutions has released LinkOptimizer 1.5, software for reducing the size of images linked to InDesign documents. The program will use Photoshop to automatically scale and crop images placed in an ID file based on target resolution and dimensions used in the layout, then reimport them to InDesign at 100%.
This is a universal binary update. New features include safety bleed around images, ability to select which links to process, ability to handle non-proportionally scaled links, and provision of before and after information for each link. Free to registered users of LinkOptimizer; $65 new (there is a demo for download at the site).
