This is the issue: you can't add information that's not there. Not even AI can do that. Although I suppose it can guesstimate. And if you reduce pixellation, you end up with a "soft" looking outcome.

Checked their website and I suspect their examples are the image with all the detail just slightly blurred on one side of the slider with the original version on the other.

But then I'm quite suspicious...
