WLED displays
From what I've read, a WLED display is an LCD that is backlit with white LED lights. These are supposed to be a little brighter and do not need to warm up. Also, I wonder if LEDs also have the advantage of not having the not-obvious flicker problem that standard fluorescent backlit LCDs have.
