I agree. I would think there should be a simple command to toggle verbal commands on and off. Like in vBulletin (on which this forum -- and many others -- runs), where if I'm typing a description of how to enter something in a post and I want it to appear as I type it, rather than execute the code it represents, I can open the post with the tag and then type vBulletin tags merrily along until I'm finished, at which point I type and, from there on, entering vBulletin tags will again generate vBulletin commands.
