Peg: there's life in the old horse e'en yet

I'm still trying to remember why I first moved from Eudora to Pegasus. Some arcane little feature or other that I suddenly needed and that Eudora didn't offer. So I moved to Peg, which UI-wise was not all that different, an easy change. And I got all these other nice features along with it.

The one thing that annoyed me about Pegasus was that, unlike Eudora, you couldn't tell it to save attachments to a separate directory. Instead, they lived inside the email store. PITA when you wanted to regain a little space by ditching unneeded attachment files.

Hmm. Will have to check to see if this is still the case. Probably is, but it doesn't so much matter now.
