I'm editing a book by a deceased author.
She died about 10 years ago and her son asked me to prepare the ms and arrange printing. I wonder how I should do the copyright notice? (c) 2015 Mother's name or (c) 2015 Son's name The mother's name of course will be on the title page and cover. I am quite sure that there will be no legal challenges or that it will ever be tested in court (the son is lawyer anyway), and it's not the kind of book that will be pirated. What would be the conventional thing to do? |
