I found a couple interesting uses for text to speech software.
1. I used it to help proof read something I wrote. When it reads to me, I can hear errors that my eyes missed. 2. I used it to time and pace a speech, because it's too difficult for me to read aloud over and over. So I had it read the speech at more than one speed to find a good pace. Then had it time the speech after each significant revision. Of course, I had to read it myself a couple times, to double check. But this software helped a lot. |
