So this month the big controversy was about my organization's needing to replace one article with another at the last minute (because the first article was about an event that was postponed until April). One of the other organizations objected on grounds of not having had time to read it - not because the other organizations' approval was required or because the article required editing, just on principle.
Several articles had entire paragraphs set bold. One organization continued to use underlining instead of italics and to omit periods from the ends of paragraphs, while the other continued to write dates with commas in the wrong places. The morning after it went to press, the organization that raised the fuss informed us that it wanted to replace one of its articles because everything had changed. |
