Hmmm. Well, smart objects too. The way Photoshop handled vectors before was pretty clunky, and I do need that from time to time. And the Bridge thing might tempt me to look more closely at the rest of the suite.
I've never been to an Adobe road show. The last one I went to was an Aldus one, actually, where I purchased a cheap copy of PageMaker, ordered IntelliDraw, and got a free mug. <g>

The demonstrations are (or were, back when I used to go) usually very slick, and do show the features of the software.

I always preferred Macworld when it used to happen, because you could compare applications, and get lots of good deals on software and hardware.
