I missed your reply on Everything in Capitals. Of course, we in England tend to use initial capitals much too often, but the tendency seems much stronger in the US. Lawyers are particularly prone to excessive use of capitals, and their vice is shared by program writers too when they have to use plain text; perhaps that's the result of reading too many 'Do you agree to these conditions' notices.
