The RAID array on our server at the hosting company failed, spectacularly, and the management used the failure as an opportunity to replace the entire hardware, with a bare-metal restore. It seems to have worked well.

I have to say that this is very rare, that we almost never have any problems with the server or any downtime, and that the UH management were meticulous in their communication via their user forums.

Anyway, we're back, and apologies for the downtime.
