I am about to try Craigslist to sell some furniture and lamps. I have been discussing some of the items on eBay about value. It is interesting that Craigslist is now 25% owned by eBay, but it is able to support itself on paid job listings and apartments in NYC.

Beyond being far less complex than eBay, Craigslist is also easier for me because I can avoid packing and shipping. In the case of an iron bridge lamp, that could be a lot of weight, and trouble.

Yes, I know we discussed Craigslist a year ago, but it seemed foolish to add to such an old thread now.
