Default A list? How?

This is what I am trying to do. The image could obviously be linked explicitly with each entry, but that seems extremely inelegant. But it appears the only way to have it inserted automatically via CSS is to use lists.

How would I use lists for this sort of information? That is: Each set would have a repeated image; a bold date; a quotation; and a citation.

Make each set a UL with 4 different LIs in it? Or a simple list, with BRs to organize the different types of information? Or a definition list?

Color me puzzled. Maybe I have just been looking at this too long.

Part of a word, or a complete word in a break line, if it contains no more than three or four letters, is improper. It should be the business of the proofreader, at all times, to notice this encroachment. The last line of a paragraph should not, on any account, begin a page, neither should the first line of a paragraph come at the bottom of a page, if the work has white lines between the breaks.
