Font Family Symbol
I am working with Font Navigator 6. In the lists of fonts, each font is identified by a symbol to the its left. TT obviously stands for TrueType, but what does the italized O represent?
On my XP Pro SP3 system, is there any advantage of having both TT and O files installed for the same typeface? Or is that redundant as I would suspect? __________________ RJ Emery, Eastern USA WordPerfect 8 User on Vista System |

What Lois says. All other factors being equal, you'd want the OpenType font, because it's more versatile (lots of extra characters, "swash" options, etc.).
