Default A Bit of Silliness

OK, this is pretty goofy but once upon a time I had a crush on this fellow so I've made him dance:

Dancin' Doughboy

Actually, he didn't keep up with the music properly, but he dances better than I do. Nah--I didn't even give it a try in front of my computer, even though it was a catchy tune. I just know from past experiences.

Regards,

George

Boomer TV fantasies. I am immune, being too old.

Oh. Where would Doughboy be found, then? In TV ads for doughnuts?

Pillsbury is a company here that makes baking mixes and frozen "ready-to-bake" cookies and croissants and such. The Pillsbury doughboy is their mascot and yes, he has starred in (or had supporting roles in) many a TV commercial. He giggles when you poke his tummy. You had to be there. I have a life-size (for a doughboy, that is) plastic toy doughboy that a friend of mine in college gave me.

Thanks for that! I was curious as to what his function was.
