I have a collection of quotes, and the real-world version uses a dingbat (typographical ornament) between each one. Now I would like to do that on the web.
One choice (I think) would be to turn the whole thing into a list, with a nested list for the ornaments. Then I could use: ul li ul li { list-style-image: url(dingbat.png) } And maybe that is the most elegant solution. But if this stuff is a list, it is a definition list, and I don’t know if that works with list-style-image. I really want to use the same trick with a <p> (or a div). Any other bright ideas? __________________ :: [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] |
