Default ReportLab PDF software toolkit - v2.5 release

We are pleased to announce version 2.5 of the ReportLab opensource PDF toolkit and ReportLab PLUS packages.

For almost ten years, we have been developing automated solutions that turn our customer's content and data into dynamic PDF documents, at high speed. The Python software library we develop and use is available for you to use too. The ReportLab toolkit is free/opensource code which anyone is permitted to use. The ReportLab PLUS upgrade package can be evaluated for free by registering on our site and adds some extra tools and features to make it quicker for you to develop with.

The latest version of our PDF toolkit brings several new features including increased support for high-end printing, QR barcodes, support for Python 2.7 and packaging improvements. A lot of new work has gone into supporting professional print features in this latest release so ink overprinting can be done, spot colours can be used and crop marks can be added automatically. Whether you're a web developer with a need for producing PDFs dynamically or a designer wanting to automate a large print production, ReportLab could be just to tool you've been looking for.
