Default MS Office.. really?

I know there's been a big discussion about Microsoft Office and Open Office, but I had to use MS Office recently and I could not believe it.

No keyboard shortcut in Excel for Deleting (Rows, Columns)?
No shortcut for Paste Special?
No Revert item in the File menu?

OK, I know I can create shortcuts in OS X, but this is basic UI stuff. And this is after 5 mins of basic use.

This is Office 2004. Are the newer versions the same?
