It appears the forum was hacked recently. It took us a while to figure out where and how, exactly, but we believe we have repaired the damage and upgraded the forum software. We have also improved security.
A couple of forum members reported that their anti-virus software had blocked Java-based malware. Some also reported damage to their profile images. Thanks to all of you for helping us identify and track this pest. Our forum software was somewhat out of date; it is now current. According to security experts, we users should also keep up to date with software updates. Windows users should run anti-virus software and keep it up to date. Mac users should keep up with Apple’s OS and Java updates. And please do let us know if you see anything odd here. Thanks. __________________ :: [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] |
