Hosting company recommendations, please

The other day I received the renewal notice from IX Webhosting, and am not planning to renew. The web hosting itself isn't too bad for reliability, but the e-mail, which I use extensively, is very poor. I have errors almost every day, and know for sure that incoming e-mails go astray during these times.Over the months, I've been tossed off all my mailing lists, which I have now converted to the e-mail address supplied by my ISP.

My requirements are for three domain names, one of which redirects everything to one of the others. I have a message board running phpBB, so that's a requirement. It would also be good if I could set up mailing lists that allow members to post to them. I converted my old mailing lists to the message board last year, but this wasn't an unqualified success.

As well as this, I need to store photos on site, so need a fair amount of disk space. Current usage is just over 100MB of 2500MB, so 500MB would probably be sufficient.

I'd ideally like to hear from people who can recommend a hosting company that has given them good service for a year or more. I manage my domain registrations through a separate registrar that gives good service, so all I need is hosting for three domains, multiple e-mail addresses, and the usual phpBB and MySQL. A decent control panel would help, and I need to be able to access technical support other than through a toll free number, because I'm in Australia.

Any recommendations?
