Because it is often hard for me to type, I need speech to text. Dragon was a big disappointment. Too many mistakes. It's possible the Win 10's engine is licensed from Dragon, but so far it works better. Almost no mistakes with minimal advanced training.
When I first started using it it was reacting to commands as something it should type. I turns out this is a typical Microsoft thing where I have to us a Microsoft product in which to lay down the text. So I use Word Pad.. I've only scratched the surface with this. Not much testing. Very rudimentary tasks. But so far it's working better for than Dragon Naturally Speaking. |
