Critique Ad Design, Please
I'm trying to get back into practice, so I made a basic Greenpeace poster/ad design as brainstorming exercise. I'm curious how easily viewers can interpret the illustration, aside from the overall layout and professionalism. I have two variations. Feedback would be much appreciated.

I like the illustration as it intelligible and clever.
I prefer the angle (and slightly larger stem on the flower) of second layout but I like the bee/flower of the first image for it's graphic quality--the second image is a bit softer. The text font is ok but kind of boring... Hope that proves useful... Terrie |

Having read Terry's comments about the bee I looked again and there's not enough bee to bee sure it's a bee <g>
Imagine the bee backing up a bit and so the body at an angle since it's on the cone of the flower .... At the moment it's all too symmetrical, linear about the axis. But that's me -- I don't often like perfect symmetry .... __________________ Hugh |

Thanks for the comments, Terrie and Hugh. I want to get a fresh addition to my portfolio, but unless you guys really find it has potential, I think this will probably be an outtake. I have some new ideas I'll post on here to get feedback on. Again, thanks for the feedback.
