Sometimes I really am a slow learner. I've had an iPad since soon after they first came out, but have been ignoring anything to do with the Kindle all this time.
Then yesterday I was reading in a forum not related to DTP when one of the members, totally non-techie, mentioned in passing that she had a Kindle app for her iPad and had bought the Kindle version of the recipe book under discussion. So now I also have a Kindle copy of that recipe book and will buy more - and not just recipe books. Just think - no discovering that the great recipe book I've just bought is very tightly perfect-bound and thus impossible to use as a result, or discovering that an important ingredient has a huge blob of something obscuring the name or quantity. The iPad will show me two pages nice and flatly, and any mysterious food spills can be wiped off. ![]() __________________ ![]() |
