Default Keeping Postscript fonts in new formats?

Now that Microsoft has decided PostScript is dead, is there a good tool to convert old Windows PS fonts into Opentype, or at least truetype, so we don't have to throw out huge investments in font libraries?

Free is good, but it is worth money to keep quality!

Haven't been around in a while, hope Covid hasn't impacted anyone badly.
