steve: The sent box is a different matter; that's the web email client software, not the SMTP server
One would think that but Verizon/AOL/Yahoo has compromised and coopted whichever outgoing/smtp servers are being used by (in a sense) diverting (a copy?) of the sent email into the user's webmail SentBox--this happens no matter which 3rd party email software one uses...in other words, the same thing happens when sending via Thunderbird..

>>So for example if you're using port 25 and VerizOLhoo won't let you use an "outside" SMTP server, try 587 instead.

Mail won't go sending from anything other than Verizon/AOL/Yahoo smtp. Changing the port didn't work--basically it's 587 or nothing...

The above stated...I have an idea but I need to test it...will report back...'-}}
