I thought I should throw out my Sunbeam percolator on the storage shelf, but why not try just one more cup of my mother’s style coffee. The design of the percolator is old fashioned but elegant. The plug is not polarized. Ahhh -- that's a good coffee. Nope, this percolator is staying on the counter.
My drip coffee maker also has a type of elegance, but it kind of reminds me of being on a space shuttle. It makes decent coffee, but I just tried it again, and after half a cup, I was thinking about percolating some more. Sometimes I make tea with a bag, that has the leaves all chopped up. Like the drip coffee maker, it’s quick and easy. But for a gourmet taste, I use a ball and broad leaf tea (in America found at import stores now). Well, I think we’ll do OK with the LCD monitors. But I’m keeping my percolator and tea ball. George |
