Default Does anyone have Adobe Acrobat Professional version 11 or newer?

The office I work in is moving toward on-line reviews and digital approvals of permit applications. Adobe Acrobat has the ability to apply digital stamps for things such as "APPROVED," and a couple of the built-in stamps are dynamic -- they automatically enter the current date when the stamp is applied.

Supposedly Acrobat Professional also allows users to create custom dynamic stamps. At Work I have Acrobat Professional, but the procedures I've found on the Internet don't work. I suspect this is because what we have is Acrobat Pro version 9, which is quite old. But Adobe has changed to a subscription model, and in a small town the IT department isn't willing to incur the recurring cost of subscriptions for however many employees have Acrobat on their computers.

Does anyone here have a fairly up-to-date Acrobat Pro, and might be willing to create a couple/few custom stamps for me? It has to be Acrobat Pro, according to what I've read. Acrobat Standard (which I have at home) doesn't allow creating dynamic custom stamps.

Although Adobe has moved to a subscription model, they do have a non- subscription product. But you do have to go hunting. Also, there are some other products that might do what you want. Two that I have looked at are CutePDF Pro, which is limited in some ways, but it seems to have a stamp creating function. Kofax PDF is the other one I looked at. It's ok, but seems a bit more cumbersome to use.

Google PDF editor, and you'll find a number of products.

Most PDF editors have a stamp creation function, but not many can create "dynamic" stamps that can automatically insert the date and the user name of the person applying the stamp to the document.
