From what I have read, it could very well be that different development groups handled each offering and that there was either little communication between the development groups and/or the speech-to-text was deliberately limited. I tend to lean towards the deliberate limitation because Microsoft is so mucked up at this point.

I'm not surprised that DNS does a better job with no-to-little training as they've been at it a lot longer than Microsoft and, since it's their primary product, they are sure to make it better...
