PC Graphics Report is now The Graphics Report and I just received my copy today. It's even better than before with its expanded coverage including both the pc and mac platforms. The Graphics Report is well worth the subscription price.
The following is from an annoucement email from the editor John Feld: "We cover the same issues as before, only now we will supplement this with Macintosh information. We still address the creative process from design to publishing, be it print, Web, or photography. With not only the exchange and interplay of information between clients on different platforms, but also the need to ensure intended outcomes on so different browsers, understanding cross platform issues is, for many, a necessity. We are providing the information you need whether you use a PC, a Mac, or both. We also will have many experts on software, color, prepress, design, and photography to write occasional pieces. The amount of pages has grown, and we are now including some advertisements. Although the advertisers are the companies we talk about, the editorial content will not be influenced by them. We will maintain the same independent editorial perspective, bringing you trusted information, as we always have, to enhance the technical side of the creative process. We think you will find the content even more useful and informative." Congrats John...it looks fab! Terrie |
