Default Dutch biking

Next week we're having the local council elections, and the parties are
busy campaigning. For more room for pedestrians and bikes, and public
transportation, and less for cars, for example.

On my little shopping tour this afternoon I encountered this interesting
sample of the latest in Dutch biking - used by the "Green Left" party to
promote their program point of room for environmentally-friendly
transportation: this contraption is called a "conference bike".

(Need a meeting? Get on your bike!)

Taken with my camera phone; some minor straightening and curves
correction, and a little cropping. I have a few more shots, but this one
came out best.
