The configuration I'm looking at has Pro. But I'll add that I have Pro on my computer now and I never use the Pro features.

steve: he glove is then dropped. There's your challenge.
There are ways around Microsoft's unilateral blocking of anything but Win10 on newer hardware and I'm somewhat curious about the process but not curious enough to pursue it--at least in the foreseeable future...

>>Done! And cheap for them compared to what would have been considerable extra cost of shipping full-size desktop PCs vs the itsybitsies. Win.Win.

The thing is that Pro gives you greater flexibility with respect to some settings which are blocked/nonexistent in Home. It's not a use-everyday sort of thing rather, it's a "oh I'm so glad I can change this setting without a big hassle"...as in, for example, access to gpedit.msc...

Unless they've changed things (What??? Windows 10? CHANGE THINGS???? NEVER!!!) Pro gives you more flexibility than Home when it comes to deferring updates.

Terrie, Terrie, Terrie .... I'm ashamed of you. The single most useful feature of Win10Pro, one that gives at least a measure of control over the single most despised drawback of same. And you forgot! Tsk.

Go stand in the corner and say 10 Hail Torvalds
