Default Amazon Kindle 2?

I ran across this discussion (with links to photos) of a revamped Kindle. Amazon appears to have solved some of the problems with version one, especially the likelihood of accidentally turning a page.

The scroll wheel has been replaced with a joystick. Buttons are smaller, and harder to read.

No more SD card slot; battery not user-accessible; instead of a proprietary recharger new model works with a miniUSB cable.

I hope Steve or others who have the first model will look this over and comment on the changes.
