I was going to say I am sure that there are none of my competitors looking at this - but then thought I don't have competitors
Each week we keep a record of how many hours we work - the number of four colour sets we make ready, the number of times we wash the press up for special colours, the number of times we work and turn the sheet and the qty we print I thought it would be fun to share this knowledge - I will try and keep it up to date Wk 6 w/c 5/2 Worked 243hrs MR = 217 WU = 23 WT = 48 ptd = 680,000 Wk 7 w/c 12/2Worked 247hrs MR = 254 WU = 38 WT = 46 ptd = 677,000 Wk 8 w/c 19/2Worked 267hrs Mr = 242 WU = 22 WT = 50 ptd = 770,000 Hours worked is the total hours worked by two b2 presses MR = number of make readies WU = the number of times the press stops to wash up for a specials colour WT the amount of times the sheet is turned over Peter |
