Well...it's patently obvious that you have NOT been doing your regular sacrifices of chicken salad sandwiches to the four corners of your computer room to appease the computer gods.

Shame on you!!!

Soooo...have you installed uBO Legacy?

I did on Sunday in my main Pale Moon portable and I have been playing with it. At first I was annoyed and frustrated that I couldn't change the allowed/blocked sites without have to go through convolutions--I hate convolutions! However, later in the evening I had a thought about that and yesterday I checked the "I am an advanced user" option (dashboard > settings tab) and BINGO!!! life is good as I now have full control and uBO works in many the same ways as uMatrix (same author so not surprising) and Request Policy.

I was a bit confused by the uBO display so I took a browse around Gorhill's documentation wiki more specifically his page on the pop-up user display and spent more time on his discussion of "dynamic filtering" which is just a fancy-schmancy way of saying "user chosen" allowing/blocking. While I need to continue testing it, I'm impressed with uBO and have disabled both the Adblock Latitude and Request Policy addons--I may remove them but for now, disabling gets them out of the way while I'm testing. I also need to test using uBO in Firefox...
