I'm trying to use Data Merge to bring info to use on postcards into InDesign. Of course all the normal fields (name, address, etc.) work just fine, but the barcode doesn't change from a number to a barcode.
I eventually found BarcodeMaker and DataLinker. It seemed that this combo of plugins would do what I needed to do. However, I got stuck. While BarcodeMaker will let me do the zip+address barcode manually, DataLinker does not include that barcode in its list of barcodes to choose from. Does anyone know if I'm doing something wrong or know of another method to do what I need? Using a Powermac G5 running Mac OS X 10.4.7 and Adobe CS2. We have a windows pc with CS2 on it, but would prefer to not use it if at all possible |
