Default More mangled English

If you have five minutes to spare and want to set your teeth on edge, have a look at this web site (trawled from a spam/scam message I just got). Notice not only the requirement for Flash to do little but annoy any sensible adult, but the tedious sound effects, bouncing graphics, and especially the truly ghastly words!

http://www.ifsd.net/

I am frankly amazed that anyone would spend so much time on graphic design for such a pile of doo-doo.

Well, I didn't see it but it must be really nasty because I couldn't even wait for it to load.

Just on the design front, it should be compulsory viewing for all web design students - on how not to do it, especially the Flash.

The English is the result of either paying someone with minimal English skills to translate from some other language, or the use of some translation program, I fear.

It's not even funny.

I thought it was just a step up from the customary spam I get, offering to lengthen my nonexistent body parts, to deliver expensive software for pennies on the dollar, or provide a 3% $300,000 mortgage on my home.

Looks as if they take the same pitch and dress it up in fancy Flash junk.

Do you read those e-mails? I've never bothered. <g>
