This is a new service to be offered by Google.

They even offer "24-hour, on-site technical support in the event of backup problems, brownouts and data wipes." Lovely!

Google Groups:
"The new protocol, "Synaptic Transport Optical Orifice
Laser" also known as "stool" will require us all to rethink the
current OSI model. It may very well impact all telecommunications
design going downwards" -sorry, forwards.

I missed that. I guess it was because I was laughing so hard! I really believed it until I saw the toilet and remembered it's April Fool's Day!

I was alerted to it via another channel. Don't miss the "How it works" and the FAQ - lots of little gems in there (like the privacy regulation...).
